Attorney Lucy Michaud

Asst. Ext. Professor / Center for Real Estate at University of Connecticut / School of Business Finance Department

Attorney Michaud is admitted to practice law in the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. District Court for the Second Circuit, and the State of Connecticut. She is an ARELLO Certified Distance Education Instructor, and a Certified Pre-License Education Instructor in the State of Virginia.

As an Asst. Ext. Professor at the UConn Center for Real Estate, her primary role is to serve as a liaison to the Department of Consumer Protection. She conducts legal seminars for real estate educators, and creates pre-licensing and continuing education courses for Connecticut real estate licensees.

Attorney Michaud earned her Juris Doctorate degree from the Quinnipiac University School of Law. Prior to joining UConn in 2013, she practiced transactional law focused on real estate, business organizations, contracts and corporate law.

She is a member of the Association of Real Estate License Law Officials, Real Estate Educators Association, and CoreNet Global.
