Richard S. Brown, PhD is an Assistant Professor of Strategic Management at Penn State University-Harrisburg. He holds a B.A. from Saint Joseph’s University, an M.B.A from Lehigh University and a Ph.D. from Temple University. He teaches courses such as Business Strategy, Mergers and Acquisitions, Franchising, Leadership and Strategic Venture Planning. His primary research interests include corporate political activity and franchising. Dr. Brown has been published in 23 peer reviewed journals including Business and Politics, Journal of Managerial Issues, Service Business, Journal of Public Affairs and the Journal of Management Policy and Practice.
