ALA Speakers Bureau application
The ALA Speakers Bureau provides multiple benefits and opportunities for its approved speakers. As an approved speaker, you have the opportunity to present accounting or legal content to not only the ALA Community, but also to outside organizations and companies.
The ALA provides a searchable database where organizations and companies can search on key words. The speaker database (located on ALACommunity.org) can be searched at no cost and with no membership required. The interested organization may then contact the potential speaker directly for detailed information, such as cost (if any) and availability. All speaking agreements are made between the speaker and the organization. The ALA only acts as marketing medium, bringing these parties together. The ALA Community does not act as agents or intermediaries between speakers and event organizers, and all communications are made directly between the parties.
Speakers Bureau applicants must be members of the ALA Community, however, ALA membership does not guarantee approval. Speakers are reviewed before approval and listing on the Speakers Bureau page. The ALA takes no responsibility for the content, language or conduct of any speakers, nor for the actions of any event organizers. All users of the website must make independent judgments as to the mutual suitability of speakers and events.
